What is California Proposition 65?
California Proposition 65 (also called Prop 65) is a law that requires all businesses to provide warnings to customers in California about significant exposures to chemicals that have been found to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
As an e-commerce business owner, it’s your responsibility to inform all your customers in California if the products you sell contain any of the chemicals mentioned in the California Proposition 65 warning list. Customers must see this information before they make a purchase.
Affected print on demand products
There are several print on demand products that contain chemicals listed by the State of California as harmful. If you already sell any of these products in your store, please copy the corresponding warning message and add it to your product descriptions. If you are not selling any of the products below, you are not required to include this.
