Where can I see and download my order invoices?

As a seller, you can view all purchase invoices in the Orders section.

  1. Go to Orders.
  2. Click on the transaction you want to get an invoice for.

3. Click  Quick actions → View Invoice at the top right corner.

4. To save the invoice, take a screenshot of the page.

Where will buyers get invoices for their purchases?

All buyers can get the invoice straight from the download page. There's a separate link to access the purchase invoice.

Invoices are only produced for paid orders, there are no invoices for freebies.

What information is included on an invoice?

The invoice information consists of the seller's Sellfy store name, seller email address, and the store URL, from which the purchase was made.

Note: The seller's name or address will NOT be included. However, the seller's name may appear during the PayPal checkout if a Personal PayPal account is used for payment collection.

As a seller, if you want to include your taxpayer details, go to "Tax Settings" in your account and add your details. Then the invoice will also reflect your Company name, company address, and VAT number. The first invoice example below shows an invoice with the store name, seller's email address, and store URL. The second example shows an invoice with the addition of the company name, company address, and the VAT ID.

Can an invoice be edited?

The buyer will be able to edit their information, but it won't be possible for them to change the seller's (your) details.

This is intended for companies to input their details for accounting purposes as we don't require this information during checkout.
By default, the buyer field will show the email address the buyer entered when purchasing the product.
If you do edit the information in each invoice, it is not saved beyond the actual invoice. If you're typing the information in one invoice, you'll have to do it again for the other invoices.

Note: The information block and the dotted border will not show on the printed document.
