What is the Google Merchant Center?

The Google Merchant Center is the name for the collective service provided by Google to "merchants" or online sellers. This service offers a way for customers to find and buy your products even more easily, and more! It can help you get more traffic and sales. It's free and easy to connect with through Sellfy.

Google will allow you to set up an account, connect to your Sellfy store, and then Google provide your products in results to customers and potential customers. Read more below!

How to get started

To start using the benefits of this integration, you'll need to connect your Merchant account with Sellfy.

I need to make a Google Merchant account

  1. Go to Google's Merchant Center
  2. Select Sign up for free
  3. Fill out the requested info and complete sign-up
  4. Move to the next steps to connect with Sellfy

I have a Google Merchant account

  1. Go to Apps
  2. Select Google Merchant Center
  3. Select Connect with Google
  4. Select a Google account
  5. Allow Sellfy's access
  6. Your account is now connected

Next, you'll want to add or sync products from your Sellfy account. Read how in the next section!


How to add or sync your products

After you've connected your Google Merchant account to Sellfy, you'll be able to sync your Sellfy products with Google. You can even select the target country and choose which language you want it displayed in. It's easy!

You can choose to sync all of your products or only select ones.

To sync your products:

  1. Go to Apps
  2. Select Google Merchant Center
  3. Select your Merchant ID in the dropdown
  4. Choose the Target Country and Language
  5. Choose which products you want to be synced with Google
  6. Choose any products that you do not want to be synced
  7. Save
