FAQs about Pages

What are Pages?

The Store Pages add an additional page or section to your store, separate from your product storefront. This feature allows you to add more information and depth to your store. These can be used to tell customers more about yourself and your business. Plus, it's a convenient way for customers to reach out to you, such as through the Contact page.

These pages are shown in your store menu, next to the store logo and title. The video below shows an example of how to create a page for Customer feedback.

How can I use Store pages?

We offer Default Store pages, with intended purposes to help get you started with your store. But, you can always add a customized Store page that suits your store and brand! Here are some examples:

 • Testimonials - You can screenshot, quote, embed, or otherwise display your customer reviews. If you're offering a workout plan or diet plan, you could even display submitted customer results of Before and After.
 • Feedback - Create a Google Form or other survey and add the link to your Store page. You can encourage your customers to participate.
 • Specific Product Explanations - If you're using the default About page to describe yourself as a creator, or your business, you can create a more specific page to talk about your products. If you're offering a subscription, it may be helpful to explain what they'll be getting each interval. Or if you deliver customized services, you could detail the process.
 • FAQ - If you have a lot of commonly asked questions, you can help both you and your customer by creating a list of these questions with answers.
 • Download Help - If you're offering large files, a variety of file types, or if you find customers need a little extra help, you can offer some tips on a Download Help page. Feel free to view or share our content as well, read more here.
 • Blog Content - If you have a blog that you'd like customers to visit, read, and follow, try including some article links and content.
 • YouTube Content - You can provide links to encourage customers to watch and subscribe. If you're selling e-book with recipes, you can bet your customers will want to follow your cooking on YouTube!

Default Store page options

We offer 3 default page templates that you can customize:

 • About - To tell your customers who you are and what your business is about.
 • Terms - To provide detailed information on your Terms of Service. Make sure to be specific on all the do's and don'ts and the refunds and/or privacy policy. The agreement to your Terms can be made mandatory for all purchases, by going to Store settings > General settings.
 • Contact - This provides a way for your customers to reach you. You can use the default contact form, offer other contact information, or even redirect customers to your social media.

If you accidentally removed any of the default pages, you can restore them by creating a new page. For example, you can recreate the Terms and Conditions page to link to from your checkout page.

See the video below for a demonstration:

Important! If you enable the terms and conditions checkbox, you'll need to enter /terms in the slug field when creating the new page.

How to add new pages

 1. Navigate to your Customization > Page Home.

How to edit Store pages

All pages have a rich text editor, which means you can customize each page by adding:

 • Links
 • Images
 • Horizontal lines
 •
, ,
,
embed codes

To edit existing page sections:

 1. Go to your Customization editor > Page Home
 2. Click on the Page Home dropdown menu in the upper left.
 3. Select the page you want to edit.
 4. Click on your page to add content.
 5. Click Publish
 6. (Optional) Click View store or Mobile preview to see the changes on your customer's side.

Note: It's only possible to embed animated images (gifs) or videos. Read more here.

You can use any Store page to link directly to your YouTube channel or Vimeo videos. That way you can promote your channel and encourage page visitors to engage with you on the platform. To do this, you will pair an image with a link, to make it clickable.

To add a clickable image, follow the steps below:

 1. Log in to your Sellfy account
 2. Navigate to Customization editor > Page Home
 3. Click on the Page Home dropdown menu in the upper left.
 4. Click on the page you want to add the clickable image to.
 5. Click on the image icon
 6. Upload your image (I.e. a screenshot of the YouTube video you're linking to)
 7. Click on the image to select it
 8. Click the link icon in the top bar of the editor
 9. Copy-paste the link into the URL field.
 10. Click Save
 11. Click Publish

Now the image appears on your About page in your Sellfy store and, when clicked, will take the visitor directly to the page you linked the image to.

The end result will look similar to this:

How to re-order pages

 1. Navigate to Customization editor > Page Home
 2. Click on the Page Home dropdown menu in the upper left
 3. Drag and drop the Store pages in your preferred order
 4. Click Publish

Deleted pages can not be recovered. If you're unsure of whether you should delete the page, you can make the page "hidden" instead. To delete any Store page:

 1. Log in to your Sellfy account
 2. Navigate to Customization editor > Page Home
 3. Click on the Page Home dropdown menu in the upper left.
