How does Sellfy work?

Use Sellfy to create a custom online store where you can sell digital, physical, subscription, or print-on-demand (POD) products. Sellfy provides all the tools you need to manage and promote your online store, including email marketing, affiliate marketing, store analytics, payment integrations, and more.

Add your first product

💡Note: We recommend adding products before customizing your store so that you can see what your store looks like with your products.

To add your first product:

1. Log in to Sellfy.

2. From the side menu bar, click Products > Add new product.

3. Click Digital product (or any other product category you want).

4. Drag and drop your product files, or click Browse on your computer to upload them from your computer.

5. Add product details:

Product name
Product description

Price

Product preview images

6. Click Save product.

Congratulations! You just added your very first product.

Customize your store

To help you get started with your store design, we offer you a selection of customizable Sellfy store themes. When you start a Sellfy store, the default theme (Bio) is automatically applied.

To change a store theme:

1. In the sidebar, click Store settings > Customize store.

What you see now is the Store Customizer.

2. In the Store Customizer sidebar, click Store Style.

3. Click Browse themes.

4. Hover the cursor over a preferred theme:

Click the eye icon to preview the theme
Click the checkmark icon to apply the theme.

4. Click Apply theme.

Use the theme as is or continue customizing the store.

5. Click Publish to make your new store go live.

💡Note: If you applied a theme but didn’t publish, just click the back arrow in the Customizer to return to your old settings.

Customize your store

Once you've chosen a preferred store theme, you can continue customizing the store to your liking.

1. In the Store Customizer, select among built-in or custom pages.

3. Click the page you'd like to customize.

4. In the left sidebar, select a module you'd like to edit, or click Add module to create a new one.

5. Click the back arrow in the top-left corner to return to the Store Customizer, where you can select other pages to customize.

6. Go to the General settings section to change the store logo and adjust basic settings like store login, search, shopping cart, Sellfy branding, and more.

7. Go to the Store style section of the Store Customizer to adjust:

8. In the top right corner, click Save draft or Publish.

Connect payment options

Sellfy ensures instant payouts through our secure payment processors, Stripe and PayPal. You can connect to one or both of the processors.

How to connect Stripe

1. In the sidebar, click Store settings > Payment Settings.

2. Click Connect an existing Stripe account.

If you don't have a Stripe account, click Create a free Stripe account to sign up.

3. If you are not yet logged in to your Stripe account, click Sign in in the top right corner.

4. Click Authorize access to this account.

5. You will be redirected to Sellfy payment settings. The green toggle to the far right of the Stripe will indicate that Stripe has been successfully connected.

How to connect PayPal

1. In the left sidebar, click Store settings > Payment Settings.

2. Click Connect with PayPal.

3. Enter your PayPal email address and click Next.

4. Log in to your PayPal account.

5. Choose the Primarily for a Business or Organization option.

6. Click Next.

7. Once the account is connected, click Go back to UAB Sellfy.
